- Your master password turns into a key on your device. The master password never leaves your device.
- This key encrypts every entry on your device – including titles, folders and addresses.
- Our server only stores encrypted data. Without your master password nobody can read it – not even us.
For Chrome, Edge and Firefox
The extension for Chrome, Edge and Firefox will follow – after the external audit.
Until then – and on any computer without the extension – you open your passwords in the web app in your browser. The extension remains the most secure way.

Payment, email delivery and the browser extension stores are external services. Your passwords never reach them – they are only stored with us, encrypted.
